Nicholas and Christopher have recently taken over the Ashill Inn from Andy and Jenny who leave one of the most wonderful, idyllic pubs around Mid Devon in their hands.
Nicholas and Christopher are long time friends from catering college 15 years ago. In that time, they have both amassed a wealth of experience, from hotels to cafes and everything in between, gaining an understanding of the highest level, working all over the world, building knowledge of other cuisines, culture and techniques.
With a huge passion for hospitality they aim to carry on the good work Andy and Jenny have done, adding their own take on a traditional pub, serving home cooked tasty food with friendly service.
We invite you along to the Ashill Inn for a drink, a bite and a smile.
Ashill Inn was built in 1835 and is a grade II listed public house with plenty of charm.
It is situated in the picturesque Mid Devon village of Ashill close to the M5. With easy links to the market town of Honiton and in an ‘area of outstanding natural beauty’ so is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal or drink, either in our newly refurbished restaurant or beer garden.
There are several walks around the area with varying lengths and difficulties and a variety of attractions from Kia-Ora farm and gardens to Diggerland.
It is the heart of the community working closely with the village hall and residents, being supplied by local farms and supporting neighbouring business’s, serving real ales from breweries in the area.
